A team that has grown from humble beginningsā¦
Brian Hern established Hern Financial Services in 1994. Brian began the practice in 1977 working from home completing tax returns, and the business gradually grew into a successful accounting practice. Brian joined with fellow accountant and financial planner, Matthew Carberry, to become partners of Hern Financial Services in 2007. The Hern Financial Services team consists of specialised staff that can help you with your tax needs and business solutions.
In 1997 Brian and Matthew became Authorised Representatives of Count Wealth Accountants.
Partners
Brian Hern FIPA, FNTAA, JPWith over forty years of accounting experience and over ten years of financial planning, Brian is the founder of Hern Financial Services and an Authorised Representative of Count Financial Limited. As a key contributor to both the business and the community, Brian is Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants, Fellow of the National Tax Accountants Association, Registered Tax Agent and a Justice of the Peace in South Australia among many other things. Brian's wisdom and vast experience is a foundation on which the firm was raised.

Matthew Carberry FIPADedicated and passionate about all aspects of the firm and the workings of the finance industry in terms of both taxation and financial planning, Matthew became a Partner of Hern Financial Services in 2007. With over fourteen years of accounting experience and over ten years of financial planning experience, he has a hard-working and enthusiastic approach to help clients achieve their financial goals. Matthew is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants, Registered Tax Agent and an Authorised Representative of Count Financial Limited.

Full Time Staff Kelli Willmer With over 10 years in the finance industry, Kelli has extensive experience and training in managing large teams, assisting Senior Management and improving business management solutions. Kelli brings a fresh approach to the firm as Business Manager and leads the highly qualified and experience team at Hern Financial Services. Committed to building a strong team and creating a culture that ensures clients receive the highest level of service, Kelli is excited to be involved in the future growth of Hern Financial Services. Maria Keszler MIPAMaria joined Hern Financial Services in 2009 and a welcomed addition to the team. With seven years experience in the accounting industry, she has a Degree in Accounting from the University of South Australia and is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants. Maria is also experienced in MYOB and QuickBooks programs. Maria approaches her work with diligence and enthusiasm and looks forward to helping clients in their accounting and taxation matters. Maria is currently on maternity leave and is enjoying being Mum to her new daughter. |

Marc Taylor
Marc is a fellow with the Institute of Public Accountants and joins Hern Financial Services as a Senior Accountant specialising in tax and compliance services. Marc comes to us with an extensive taxation background having spent the last 4 years in Management and Finance Accounting roles in a variety of commercial businesses. Renee Bilske
As our Paraplanner, Renee works enthusiastically with Matthew to prepare all of your financial plans and provide additional client support. She has a Bachelor od Business (International Business) and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services, as well as 4 year experience in the financial planning industry. Adam Drinkwater Hern Financial Services welcomes Adam to the Financial Planning team. Part Time Staff Bronwyn Hern Since 1994, Bron became Practice Administrator, to support Brian in his new venture and has enjoyed that role ever since. Watching the Practice grow and interacting with clients, many of whom have had a very long association with the firm, handling the day-to-day administration for the business, plus the client base supported by it, has been very satisfying. |

| Adrienne Gill Adrienne has recently taken temporary leave from her role as Marketing Coordinator as she prepares for the birth of her second baby. She will return from maternity leave in late 2012. | Kristy Willmott Kristy has returned to Hern Financial Services as a Client Services Assistant, after being on Maternity leave.
